Prospective Members

Interested in becoming a student member of The Georgetown Law Journal?
Each year, a new class of Journal staff is selected by the following three methods:

  • Based on the student’s score in the Write On competition
  • Based on a combination of Write On score and first-year grades
  • Based on a personal statement detailing the contribution the student will make to the Journal‘s diversity.

The evaluation of Write On submissions and personal statements is done blindly.

Please note that the Journal only accepts students who have preferenced it as their first choice.
